Meet Our Dedicated Team

Meet Ian Deacey. Ian and his wife Julie are the company directors and the husband-wife team who have been managing Floormasters since the late 1980’s. Ian has been in the carpet and flooring trade ever since he left school. He trained as a floor layer in Wombwell in 1984 and then went on to become a contract installer before starting his own business. He has a vast amount of experience in both fitting and sales and has always been passionate about carpets and flooring.

Dave from a young age worked for Paul Eyre carpets in Rotherham, moving onto the carpet centre Wombwell in 1988. Here he worked in sales, warehousing and fitter relations until its closure in 2015. He is now part of our team at Floormaster, carrying out the same role.

Alan worked for Allied Carpets for over 30 years and has now joined our team at Floormaster as a member of the mobile showroom, showroom and sales team. He’s a true master of carpets and flooring and can’t do enough for his customers.

All our installation teams work on a sub-contract basis. This can sometimes be off-putting for clients but rest assured that our teams have been with Ian and Floormaster for many, many years. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience and follow our “go the extra mile” mentality. 

Stuart is part of Floormaster’s sales team. Having started on a YTS at the Carpet Centre in Wombwell he joined Floormaster in 1990. He is a fully trained floor layer with over 25 years experience which means that he’s got an excellent product knowledge. He’s always got a smile for his customers and his helpful, caring manner truly represents our non-pushy sales belief.

Donna has worked for the family run business for over 20 years as office manager and accounts manager. She’s the chief organiser in the office and keeps your accounts in order.
